Never Before But Oh So Cool!
So I just ordered shrimp dumpling, vegetable soup, and beef fried rice for delivery. Nothing out of the ordinary—-this I do know. However, what was very far from ordinary was how the gentleman at the restaurant ended our conversation. Here is how the conversation unfolded.
Guy: “Ok, what would you like to order?”
Me: “Shrimp Dumpling.”
Guy: “Ok, what else?”
Me: “Vegetable soup.”
Guy: “Ok, what else?”
Me: “Beef fried rice.”
Guy: “Ok, what else?”
Me: “That’s all.”
Guy: “Ok, bye.”
Priceless I tell you. I loved it. No thank you’s or the standard, and frankly overdone, exchanging of pleasantries. The order was placed. We are good to go. Never has a call of mine to a restaurant ended both so abruptly AND thoroughly, simultaneously.
